Know It-

Jeep Safaris/Canter Safaris are conducted twice a day. Jeep Safari/ Canter Safari Timing: Morning at 06:00 am to 11.00 am and afternoon 02.30 pm to 05.30 pm Dhikala Canter Safari Timings: Canter Safari is the only way to visit to Dhikala, Hence the timing for canter safari is 10.00 am to 04.00 pm Permits: The park safaris should be booked in advance and photo ID proof {passport copy (overseas and Indian Nationals), voters ID, Pan Card, driving license} is required to book the safaris Charges: The safaris charges for an Indian National and Overseas National are different (Overseas nationals pay higher fee). Charges get revised annually. Seasonality: Oct to June. Park remains close from 1st July to 30th September. Except Sitabani and Jhirna which are open throughout the year. Dhikala opens on 15th Nov and Closes on 15th June. Dhikala, Bijrani, Durgadevi, Jhirna and Sitabani are five areas where guests visit for safaris. Except Sitabani and Jhirna which are open throughout the year Elephant Safaris are rare as number of elephants are limited and are on first come first served basis and no prior reservation is permitted Durga Devi Gate is the only zone where multi-day elephant safaris are permitted. Corbett is renowned for Catfish (Goonch, Trout and Mahaseer Angling. After recent ruling permits are hard to come by.
